Superintendent's and Assistant Superintendent's Goals

The Superintendent shall lead and manage all District resources such that every graduating child is socially, emotionally, and academically literate, and therefore prepared for his/her next step in life: military, workforce, two or four year college; and the Superintendent shall lead and manage all District resources in a fiscally conservative manner.

Annually the Board of School Directors and the Superintendent may mutually establish goals that are subordinate to and supportive of the above listed overarching goals. Such goals may include but are not limited to academic performance, curriculum development, fiscal management including budget preparation and performance, facilities management, human resource management, and community engagement. Such other goals are to be established during the month of June.

The Assistant Superintendent shall assist the Superintendent in achieving the aforementioned goals.

The Board shall evaluate the Superintendent annually. Upon completion of the annual performance assessment, the Board shall post on the District Web site the date of the assessment and whether or not the Superintendent met the established goals.

  • The Board completed the performance assessment of the Superintendent, Mr. Gallagher, on October 26, 2017. The Board determined that the Superintendent had achieved the established goals for the 2016-17 school year.

The Superintendent shall evaluate the Assistant Superintendent annually. Upon completion of the annual performance assessment, the District shall post on its Web site the date of the assessment and whether or not the Assistant Superintendent met the established goals.

  • The Superintendent completed the performance assessment of the Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Hey, on October 27, 2017. It was determined that the Assistant Superintendent had achieved the established goals for the 2016-17 school year.
