End of Year Reminders

As the 2017-2018 school year comes to a close, the Food Service Department would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued business over the course of the past year, as well as to provide some helpful tips to make the transition to the new school year as worry-free as possible.

Account Funds:  Any funds that have not been used on your child’s meal account automatically carry to the next school year, even if they change schools within the District.

Refunds:  If a positive balance is left on your child’s account at the end of the school year, and you would like to request this amount be refunded to you, please contact your child’s school cafeteria manager to request a refund. 
 
Senior Accounts:  If a senior has a positive balance at the end of the school year, any remaining funds will automatically be transferred to the next oldest sibling remaining in the District.   If there is no sibling, a refund will be issued.  Refunds will be processed after the last day of school for all graduating seniors.  Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing.  

Balance Transfers:  If all or a portion of the remaining funds on your child’s account need to be transferred to another child remaining in the District, please contact your child’s cafeteria manager to request the transfer.

MySchoolBucks.com:  If your child is moving to another building within the District, please be sure to change the building location on your student’s MySchoolBucks.com account.  The last day to make a payment in MySchoolBucks.com will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018.  MySchoolBucks.com will be shut down from June 13, 2018 to July 31, 2018 for the summer and will begin accepting payments on August 1, 2018.

Meal Benefits:  If your student currently receives free or reduced meal benefits, these benefits will remain in effect for the first thirty (30) school days of the 2018-2019 school year.  Please be sure to submit a new 2018-2019 Free and Reduced Meal Application before the first thirty (30) school days ends to avoid a lapse in benefits.  The new 2018-2019 Free and Reduced Price Meal Application will be available in July, 2018 on the District Web site. 
 
Negative Balances:  Any negative charges need to be paid by Tuesday, June 12, 2018.  Any unpaid negative charges automatically carry over to the next school year until paid in full.
