Youth Art Month Exhibit through March 28

The eagerly anticipated Youth Art Month Exhibit 2019 is open at Indian Valley Public Library!

Click to watch the video...Over 400 pieces of art made by Souderton Area School District students in kindergarten through grade 12 are on display until March 28th.

This artwork reveals amazing creative achievements of our students and is a result of Souderton Area School District’s commitment to providing every student with a quality visual arts education.

Students are challenged to think about the role the arts has played in history and how time and place impact artists and cultures.

Connections are made to personal experience, literature, and local and global events.
Creativity is developed through brainstorming, decision-making, questioning, experimenting, and personal reflection.

You will find many different media included: drawing, painting, printmaking, repousse’, collage and assemblage, textiles, jewelry making, ceramics, recycling, and wire sculpture.

The public is welcome to view this impressive exhibit during regular hours at the Indian Valley Public Library through March 28th. Come and celebrate the importance of art in our Souderton Area schools and in our lives!
