All classes held at County Line Landscape Nursery on Route 113 in Harleysville.
Note that organizations or a group of friends or family may book their own private parties for County Line Nursery Classes with a minimum of 10 people.

Decorate your yard, deck, or balcony with the least amount of work with container gardens. Learn all the tricks of the trade for choosing the best combinations of plants and then proper care to keep them going from May through the first frost. Bring your container or purchase one of our gorgeous pieces of pottery.

How to prune just about anything the right way. Unless you live at Hampton Court in England, green meatballs are not the answer. We’ll show you how to keep plants well-behaved in a more natural and contemporary way. When, how and where to prune. Bring hand shears and gloves or purchase a pair at class. You’ll find pruning to be therapeutic and addictive after this class.

In class you will plant a patio container of cooking herbs that will provide you with an assortment of fresh herbs for the summer. Bring a 4 quart (or larger) or two 2 quart containers in which to plant your herbs – it should be large enough for 5 plants. Also bring a small trowel and paper and pencil. Learn about the history, care, and use of the herbs you are planting and receive recipes for using the herbs that you will be growing.
