All residents of the Souderton Area School District age 62 and older are eligible for a Gold Card. In addition to free entrance to certain events, a Gold Card holder may attend one evening school class free of charge each semester. However, not all classes are open to the use of Gold Cards and are noted in the program brochure. Gold Card holders must pay for supplies used in class. Your Gold Card number should be included on your class registration form.

Gold cards can be obtained by doing one of the following:

• Download, complete and print a Gold Card Application (PDF)
• Pick up an application at:
  District Administrative Offices
  760 Lower Road
  Souderton, PA 18964

Completed Gold Card applications should be returned to the District Administrative Office address listed above.

What does a Gold Card entitle me to?

A Gold Card entitles you to FREE admission to any school-sponsored event such as

• choral and band concerts
• plays
• athletic events

You may enter these events simply by showing your card at the door. (Make sure you have signed the back of your Gold Card).

• A Gold Card also entitles you to attend at no cost, one (1) course per semester offered by the Souderton Area Community Evening School (although there may be a charge for supplies, etc.). All courses are not open to the use of Gold Cards. Please check the brochure to see what classes are excluded.

What if there are reserved seats?

If the event you would like to attend has seats reserved, you may obtain a ticket by contacting the school several weeks before the event. Even if you have not called for reserved seats, your Gold Card will be acceptable at the door. However, we cannot guarantee you a seat. Your Gold Card is good for general admission to athletic events but not for reserved seats.

Are there any events where my Gold Card cannot be used?

Yes, it cannot be used for events sponsored by school-connected organizations such as Home and School Associations, Fifth Quarter Club, Band Boosters, etc., where admission is charged unless these organizations make their own provisions for accepting Gold Cards. The Evening School office will not accept Gold Cards for trip reservations.

No, the Gold Card is not transferable. It can be used only by you.

How will I know the schedule of school events?

School-sponsored activities are listed on the district web site in the District > Calendar > Districtwide Activities Calendar section, and often appear in the local newspapers.

What do I do if I lost my Gold Card?
