3/27/2008: Souderton High School Night of Jazz on April 11

Location: Souderton Area High School Auditorium
Admission: $5.00 for students up to 12 years; $7.00 for all others

The Souderton High School Night of Jazz will be held in the High School auditorium on Friday, April 11th at 6:30 p.m. and will feature performances by Indian Crest Jr. High (opening), North Penn Lab, Wissahickon 1 & 2, Upper Moreland, Upper Merion, Council Rock South, and Northeast High School. The Souderton High School Jazz Band directed by Adam Tucker will finish the show. Admission is $5.00 for students up to 12 years of age and $7.00 for all others. Each band will play three selections before judges who will then award a rating ranging from Good to Superior. Awards will also be given for best sections (rhythm, trumpet, sax, and trombone) and soloist. This event is sponsored by the Souderton Big Red Band Boosters.
