3/31/2010: Science Fair Winners at Indian Valley Middle School

Ten students from Indian Valley Middle School competed in the annual Montgomery County Science Fair at Montgomery County Community College. First place was awarded to Dreya Cherry and Bryan Freedman who are now eligible to continue competing at the regional competition in April. Honorable Mentions were awarded to Mitch Plummer, Thomas Frick, and Joe Pinnola-Vizza.

In addition, The Most Promising Scientist/Engineer in the Special Awards category was awarded to Bryan Freedman, grade 6. This is the top special award and is equivalent to a Best of Show. Bryan’s project was selected out of 275 other projects in Division E. He received a laptop and $50.

Gifted support teacher, Diane Mazziotta, said, “Congratulations to all who entered their projects.”
