5/19/2010: SASD students competed in state level science fair competition and win!

Students from Souderton Area School District just competed with 3000 students from all over the state at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) state competition held at Penn State University. It was their last science fair competition for the 2009-2010 school year.

Students qualified to compete at the state level by winning first place at the PJAS local fair in February.

First place winners from Souderton Area High School are: Trevor Zwaan, Alexandria Capra, Colin Detweiler, and Aaron Lowe. Second place winners are: Alexander Cupo and Maggie Hayes.

First place winners from Indian Crest Middle School are: Hailey Hagen and Matthew Dille.

Winners from Indian Valley Middle School are: First place, James Devon. Second place, Mitch Plummer.
