8/13/2010: Jonathan Graf to serve as Principal on Assignment at E.M.C.
Jonathan R. Graf will serve as Principal on Assignment at E. M. Crouthamel Elementary School for the 2010-2011 school year.
Graf spent the last four years as assistant principal at Indian Crest Junior High working extensively with building safety practices, anti-bullying programs, academic intervention, and elementary-to-middle level transition programming. Prior to his role as assistant principal he taught Social Studies at Crest for six years. Graf also served as a team leader during the district’s strategic planning process in 2009.
Graf attended Lower Salford Elementary School, Indian Valley Middle School, and graduated from Souderton Area High School. He credits the positive influence of his teachers and principals as the reason he pursued a degree in education at Millersville University. He earned his master’s degree at East Stroudsburg and administrative degree at Penn State.
“I am looking forward to getting to know the students, their families, the faculty, and staff at EMC,” said Graf. “This is clearly a school with a tremendous sense of pride, spirit, and community involvement.”
Graf and his wife, a teacher, have twin sons who will turn five in October and a third son who is fifteen-months old.
