10/22/2009: Ken R. Keith Appointed to School Board

On Wednesday evening, October 21st, the Board of School Directors appointed Ken R. Keith to fill the unexpired term of Eric MacDougall. Mr. Keith’s term will be October 21, 2009 to December 2011.

Mr. Keith is a senior management executive with Stelex, a GE Company in Bensalem, PA. He is a graduate of Souderton Area High School and a lifetime resident. He, his wife, and children reside in Harleysville.

For the past 22 years Keith has served in the Harleysville Community Fire Company and 6 years with the Harleysville Jaycees. “Volunteerism and a strong desire to be a part of the solution is indeed a part of my social fabric and moral beliefs,” stated Keith. “I hope to continue this path as a school board member.”
