11/19/2010: SAHS students team with business professionals for final assessment

Students in the Business Department of Souderton Area High School worked with representatives from local businesses as part of the final assessment in their Professional Development course. The panel members and students discussed the importance of human relations in the workplace; customer focus; organizational effectiveness; teamwork, understanding interpersonal communication, and becoming a high achiever. The interactive classroom activity is a popular tradition in the business department and is organized by teacher Kathy Doll. Participants included: Grand View Hospital, Merck, IV Animal Hospital, Siemens, Aerie, Pampered Chef, and Care & Share Thrift Shoppes.
