10/6/2006: SASD students showcase their talents at Arts Gala

Souderton Area School District students were among the local artists who showcased their talents at the Arts Gala at the Senior Adult Activity Center in Souderton on October 3, 2006, as part of the weeklong celebration by the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Samples of the artwork produced by students from kindergarten through grade 12 were on display for the community to enjoy. Many of the students, accompanied by family members, stopped by to see their work featured in the exhibit.

The much sought after Souderton Area Show Choir provided lively entertainment with their performance of "Puttin' on the Ritz", "At the Hop", and "Your Mama Don't Dance". Their choreographer is Mrs. Erin Griffith and choir director is Mrs. Teresa Washam.

The Arts Gala was sponsored by First Service Bank, a Division of Penn Bank and Roush Associates, LLC, and the Indian Valley Arts Foundation.
