School Board > SASD welcomes new members to Board of School Directors

At its annual reorganization meeting on December 1, 2011, the Souderton Area Board of School Directors welcomed two new recently elected members, Donna M. Scheuren and Nicholas A. Braccio.  Returning to the Board after re-election to second terms were Scott C. Jelinksi, Ken R. Keith, and Thomas A. Kwiatkowski.  The oaths of office were performed by the Honorable Judge Kent H. Albright.

The reorganization meeting established Board officers and representatives for the upcoming year.  Mr. Bernard Currie was again elected to the office of president and Mr. Jelinski was elected to the office of vice-president.  Mr. Jelinski replaces Mr. Kwiatkowski as vice-president while Mr. Currie will also represent the Board as a member of the Souderton Area Education Foundation.  Mr. Matt Holliday was chosen to represent the District on the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors.  Mrs. Jill Basile was chosen to represent the District as Legislative Liaison.
