VeggieVeggie Man Recipe

Ingredients (To Serve 25 Children)
1 Bag of carrots, 1 Stalk of celery, 1 Bunch of radishes, 3 Green Peppers, 3 Red Peppers, 1 Yellow Pepper, 1 Bunch Broccoli, 1 Bottle Ranch dressing to use as Dip (or substitute your own dressing). Use olives, raisins or cherry tomatoes to create eyeballs.

Directions:
Wash, rinse and dry fresh vegetables. Line a tray with wax paper and build your picture on the tray. Use the picture of the veggie man as a guide. Cut the vegetables into long pieces so that the children can dip them into a sauce and handle them easily. Be flexible in your choices so that you don't spend too much. If a different color or type of produce is on sale, use it! Fresh fruit and vegetables can be expensive, especially if you are using organic produce.

Children Love Healthy Foods! Serve Away. Remember that a child can be introduced to a new food up to fourteen times before they decide that they want to eat it and it goes into their list of acceptable foods. Don't give up.
