Parent University Mission
The Souderton Area School District has developed a new program for parents and adult community members within the district. The program, entitled Parent University, launched on January 1, 2016 and will include a variety of opportunities to learn more about the academic topics covered in the Souderton Area School District curriculum. Content-rich workshops will be led by administrators, teachers and other leaders within our community.
It is our hope that Parent University will help support community participation in our students' academic success as well as involvement in our schools and community. Through participation in Parent University we will strengthen our atmosphere of positive attitudes and academic advancement across all subject areas.
We are encouraging every parent to become involved in Parent University, even if your child is not yet attending school.

During this session, we will explore various free resources and strategies that can help support core content learning at home (language arts, math, science, social studies). This is a great session to attend if you would like new ideas on how to provide extra practice or extend your child’s learning beyond the classroom. Devices will be available to try some of the digital resources, or feel free to bring your own.
