Located 25 miles north of Philadelphia, just off Rte. 309, the Souderton Area School District can be characterized as a growing semi-rural community of 39,000 residents. The school district encompasses 49 square miles, and includes the boroughs of Souderton and Telford and the townships of Franconia, Salford, Lower Salford, and Upper Salford. While still featuring rural sections and farmland, the Souderton Area School District is evolving into a residential community with a growing professional population. The entire school district has approximately 6,700 students.
