The Souderton Area High School has a yearly Dual Enrollment Agreement with Montgomery County Community College (MCCC). The agreement allows suitable students the opportunity to take approved courses at Souderton Area High School for both high school and college credit. The opportunity is available to those students who meet the pre-requisites for courses at Souderton Area High School and the admission requirements of Montgomery County Community College.
Please note that this is an outstanding opportunity for students to earn college credits that will transfer from MCCC to most other colleges in Pennsylvania by taking classes right here at SAHS!
Students interested in Dual Credit must follow the procedures for enrolling at Montgomery County Community College, which includes paying a fee ($75 during the 2009-10 school year, but subject to change) and earn a minimum of a “C” grade in the course at Souderton Area High School.
The following courses are available at Souderton Area High School for Dual Credit:
- Advanced Painting
- AP Environmental Science
- CAD I
- CAD II
- Child Development
