This year, in its annual evaluation service, the Pennsylvania School Press Association placed the Souderton Area High School's student newspaper, The Arrowhead, among those publications that exemplify the highest scholastic journalism standards in the state, by naming The Arrowhead an All State Award winner. There is no higher award given in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for scholastic journalism than the All State Award. For student journalists in Pennsylvania, the All State Award is the state championship.

The SASD Board of Directors presented the student editors and their advisor with a Certificate of Recognition for receiving the awards listed below during the 2005-06 school year.
