Souderton Area High School senior Emily Thudium took a third place in the Biochemistry Division at the Delaware Valley Science Fair held at the Valley Forge Convention Center in early April. She competed against students from New Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia, and the Greater Philadelphia area. Emily was also recognized with a special award for her use of photography in her project, "Picture Perfect Immunoassays". She recently received the William H. Ritter Award for the outstanding point-winning senior in the Montgomery County Science Research Competition.
