What:       Explore the College Admission Process
When:      March 11, 2010              Session 1:  8:30 am             Session 2:  6:30 pm
Where:    Souderton Area High School (exact room yet to be determined, most likely will be in the LGI).
Who:       The target audience is for parents of 11th graders. However, any grade level parent is welcome to attend.
Why:       The topics discussed will be presented by the three 11th & 12th grade counselors Mrs. Grant, Mr. Overberger, and Mr. Michuda. The intent of the presentation is to inform parents of the following information.

1. What your child needs to do to prepare for college?
2. What colleges look for in a student?
3. How to define the “type of college” you want to attend?
4. Delivery of helpful Web sites
5. The college admissions criteria
6. The college application process
7. College visitations?
8. The testing maze
