Coronavirus Update - March 6, 2020

We continue to monitor the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19) around the globe.  Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced today the presence of two presumed positive cases in the state, one in Delaware County and one in Wayne County.

This week, the District met with officials from the Montgomery County Department of Health who shared guidance for school leaders in our region.

  • Please know that the District has plans in place in the event of any locally confirmed cases.  We have also taken proactive measures in our schools including teaching students age-appropriate lessons on disease transmission prevention, placing hand-washing posters in bathrooms, and extra cleaning and disinfecting of our facilities.
