All Summer Camps CANCELED

May 20th, 2020

Due to the risks and uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all of our summer camp offerings this summer. It is unknown whether our county will be out of the “Red Phase” in the Governor’s reopening plan by the time camps would normally open. Even if Montgomery County were to move into the “Yellow Phase” by the summer, the strict limitations in place would prevent the resumption of our camp offerings. With the uncertain opening of the county, the District believes that the safest course of action is to cancel camp programs entirely to protect the health of our students, staff, and community.

All Souderton Area Community Education summer day camp, swim lessons, and Club Adventure programs have been canceled, as well as Summer Sports Camps normally held at Souderton Area High School.

Refunds will soon be issued to any family or individual who had registered for a summer camp program. Please visit our Web pages for contact information for our Community Education Department and Sports Camp Program.

We are disappointed that we are unable to offer the community our traditional selection of summer programming, but we look forward to offering all of our camps next summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
