Program Philosophy
The Souderton Area Evening School Program strives to provide our participants with meaningful and quality classes, workshops, and programs that enable our students to enjoy a positive and productive lifelong-learning experience. Through our program we hope to create a sense of community spirit and participation.
Classes and Workshops range from one session to 15-week courses.
We endeavor to serve adults with many interests and from all backgrounds. While our primary focus is on the residents of the Souderton Area School District, individuals from all communities are welcome to enroll for classes. Classes are conducted in school buildings throughout the Souderton Area School District.
Rules and Regulations
ADULT EVENING PROGRAM REFUND POLICY
Applies to all programs offered through SACE as well as Souderton Area Aquatics programs. A $25 (non-refundable) registration fee is included for each course fee. Do not add $25 on to your class fee. A $25 non-refundable registration fee is included for Driver Education classes. Cancellation notice must be received before the start of any class in order to receive a refund (less the fee). Trip cancellations must be received one month before the departure date of trip. If SACE cancels a class or trip a total refund is issued. Or, call the school district HOTLINE (see information below), or listen to the WNPV radio station or a Philadelphia radio station. Canceled classes will be made up.

Daily announcements and cancellations can be heard 24 hours a day by calling the school district “Hotline” 215-723-4272.

NO SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in the school buildings or on school grounds.
CHILDREN
Children are not permitted to attend adult classes. This applies to all classes, sports, and volleyball leagues. Adults may attend sports programs as spectators, but may not audit classroom classes unless given advance permission by the office. Young children and babies are not permitted in the gym during volleyball classes or league play because of the serious injuries that could occur if they are hit by high power balls. Please respect this request!
Some classes are scheduled for a child accompanied by a parent as noted in the brochure.
STUDENT POLICY
Students enrolled in SACE classes are expected to adhere to adult behavior. Disruptive behavior and violation of program rules may result in expulsion from class. No refunds will be given to anyone who is expelled from class.
