COVID-19 Information

Visit the COVID-19 DashboardThe Souderton Area School District considers the health and well-being of our students, staff, and community to be of the utmost importance. It is with that in mind that we share this information with our school community. To provide information regarding  positive cases of COVID-19 among students and staff, visit SASD's COVID-19 Dashboard.

When the District is notified of a positive case, administrators immediately work to identify and notify individuals who may have been in close personal contact with the positive case. These individuals are required to follow the Montgomery County Office of Public Health's updated quarantine guidelines, after which they may return to school/work provided they have not developed symptoms of COVID-19. "Close personal contact" is defined by the Montgomery County Office of Public Health as being within 6 feet of an infected individual for 15 or more consecutive minutes, with or without a mask. The building administration will also notify families and staff via e-mail when positive case occurs within their school community, and the information will be posted to the table below.

Families and staff must remain vigilant and compliant with District safety protocols in order minimize the risk of disease transmission in our school community. By taking these precautions, we help protect ourselves and one another. Remember to always:

  • Stay home when you are sick, and get tested if you experience any symptoms consistent with COVID-19
  • Wear your mask
  • Practice social-distancing
  • Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
  • Avoid touching your face
