Special Education

Special Education IconThe District will continue to provide a free appropriate public education (FAPE) for all students with IEPs. Our goal is to maximize in-person programming while offering a virtual option for students who need it. Recognizing that students have been out of school for a longer period of time than usual, we intend to support students in returning to school by providing additional supports to help them understand the safety measures that are being taken against COVID-19. To ensure a healthy learning environment for all, the District will take measures to limit the number of visitors in each school. In addition, our staff will support students in maintaining appropriate physical distance and in utilizing best practices for hygiene to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
