Teaching & Learning During School Closure

Souderton Area School District is committed to providing all students with a high-quality education in a healthy and safe environment.  During our school closure due to coronavirus, following guidance from PDE (the Pennsylvania Department of Education), we focused on reinforcing skills and content through learning menus made available on our At Home Learning Web site and in Schoology.

With an extended closure, a transition to home learning through Schoology took place during the week of March 30th.  In Schoology, the District’s Learning Management System, teachers provide students with resources to engage them in core academic content learning, in addition to promoting core competencies that contribute to their long-term success: resilience, innovative thinking, personal wellness, and social consciousness.

For information regarding teaching and learning for the remainder of the school year, please see the Continuity of Education Plan, March-June 2019-2020.
