Kindergarten Registration

2020-2021 Kindergarten Registration Scheduling and Important Information

Please see the important information below.
STEP 1: Complete a 2020-2021 Kindergarten Registration Packet (fillable PDF). 

STEP 2: After completing, printing and signing your child's 2020-2021 Registration Packet, return your packet via e-mail it to the registrar at jjohnson@soudertonsd.org
Required Documents:
  1. Completed Student Registration Packet 
  2. Proof of age (Original Birth Certificate)
  3. Proof of required immunizations
  4. School transcript and/or report card (if you have it)
  5. Special Education IEP (if applicable)
  6. Custody papers (if applicable)
  7. Proof of residency – copy of current electric bill, tax bill, or water bill (all pages) or a copy of your signed lease (all pages).  *A phone bill or driver's license will not be accepted as proof of residency.
  8. Photocopy of Driver’s License or State Issued I.D.

*Photocopies of the registration packet are available at the main entrances to District Office and the elementary schools.

All forms and documents must be presented before your child(ren) can be fully enrolled in school.

Teacher assignments and A.M. or P.M. sessions will be determined during the summer at which time you will receive notification of class times and general kindergarten information.  If there are extenuating circumstances that necessitate a need for a particular session, please put that request in writing.  Please note that A.M. or P.M. sessions will be determined based on reason and availability.

Through lessons and activities within the school walls, and experiences outside on the playground, on the bus, or on field trips, Souderton Area School District kindergarten students are learning to meet the academic expectations of a standard-driven curriculum. In addition, they learn the social skills that help them to become respectful and contributing members of a community.
