Souderton Area Virtual Academy (SAVA)

The Souderton Area School District recognizes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning and is pleased to offer a virtual learning experience for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Students may choose to enroll in the virtual learning program with the Souderton Area Virtual Academy (SAVA).

Souderton Area Virtual Academy (SAVA) is a completely online learning program offered through the Souderton Area School District in partnership with Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA). SAVA students take all of their courses online through BVA while still being enrolled as a student in the Souderton Area School District. There is no tuition cost for Souderton Area School District residents.

SAVA’s online learning program is rigorous and the content aligns with Souderton Area School District’s curriculum. Students should expect to invest a significant time commitment to their schoolwork daily.

SAVA courses are primarily asynchronous, allowing students to move through content at their own pace while being supported by the learning management system, teachers, and teaching assistants. The program allows for flexibility and autonomy for each student/family to determine what schedule works best for them.
